AHL: Whale deals Admirals fifth regulation loss in row

John Kurtz and Emerson Etum scored for Norfolk, but the Admirals dropped a 5-2 decision to the Connecticut Whale on Saturday night in Hartford.

Chad Kolarik scored a hat trick for the Whale, the top affiliate of the New York Rangers.

It was the fifth straight loss for the defending Calder Cup champion Admirals (7-9).
