The Kings can be vicious on the ice. The same can be said of the team off the ice sometimes.

Thursday’s 5-1 win over the St. Louis Blues displayed some of that viciousness on the ice. And during the game, the team decided to show the same intensity on Twitter regarding recent news in the NFL.

The tweet was referring to the Chargers’ relocation to L.A. for the 2017 NFL season. The former San Diego team is joining the Rams, who relocated from St. Louis, as L.A.’s second NFL team.

Some Blues fan did not take kindly to the reminder.

Not to be outdone, the Kings decided to take one more jab.

The Chargers’ move has ignited a social media firestorm among fans and professional sports team around the world.

Other NHL teams, including the Tampa Bay Lighting and the Dallas Stars, also weighed in on the online conversation.
