Father's Dayis a day to tell the fathers in our lives -whether they are still with us or not - that we love them.

There is no better way forDale Earnhardt Jr.to honor his late father, than with a win on the track where pops had 76 career victories.

Sunday at Michigan International Speedway, Junior snapped a 143-race winless streak to take the checkered flag at the Quicken Loans 400.

"I know you guys have been waiting on that one," Earnhardt radioed to his crew after crossing the finish line. "I know I have."

Coincidentally, Junior's last win before Sunday came at Michigan on June 15th, 2008.

The victory was the 19th in the Cup Series for Earnhardt, who solidified second place in the Cup standings.

Points leader Matt Kenseth, finished third Sunday behind Earnhardt and Stewart.
