An NFL dream is becoming a reality for one Western Michigan University basketball alum.
That's right - basketball alum.
Reitz played for WMU's basketball team from 2004-2008, but grew up in Indiana and always had a dream of playing for the Colts.
"To be able to come home and play for the Colts is just exciting," Reitz said.
Reitz, a 6'7 basketball star in high school and college - set WMU's school record for games started and ranks in the top five in both scoring and rebounding.
Reitz left WMU and had small NFL stints with practice squads in Baltimore and Miami. He's now on an NFL path because of a dream he always had to play for the Colts.
"I can't wait for the opportunity to help this team win games."
