Coach: Keith Brader (second year, second stint overall at school, 15-48)
Last year: 1-9 (1-8)
Impact players: QB/S Sonny Odom, sr.; FB/LB A.J. Kuhns, sr.; WR Kyle Grimes, sr.; WR Jovan Ferreira, sr.; G/NG Matt Carraballo, sr.; DE Justin Figueroa, sr.; C/LB John Nunez, jr.; T Brendon Hausman, sr.; T/DE Leondro Perez, sr.; C Shamar Lawson, sr.; G/DE Robert Squires, sr.; RB/S Rodney Gilmore, jr.; WR/S Jacoby Smith, sr.; WR/C Tiffone Porter, jr.; FB/OLB Kyle Grady, jr.; RB/OLB Alex Rodriguez, sr.; NG John Fulmer, sr.; LB Darius Mendez, sr.
Biggest question: Can the Huskies, 1-29 over the last three seasons, maintain the toughness and discipline necessary to make it through a 10-game season?
Outlook: Expectations can't be too high for a program that has not won more than two games in a season since 2002, when it went 7-5. This team is stronger, more talented and has more depth than recent squads and may not lose by the 35-point mercy rule as much. Posting a winning season, however, seems impossible.
Coach: Steve Shiffert: (16th year, 124-58-1)
Last year: 8-4 (6-3 LVC), lost in District 11-2 Class 4A quarterfinals
Impact players: C Sean McDoughall, jr.; TE Chad Gruver, sr.; RB Kyle Harbridge, sr.; RB/OLB Tom Furman, sr.; OG Ryan Barrick, sr.; Jarrell Swick OG; RB/DB Jashaad Gaddy, jr.; OG Patrick Ellison, sr.
Biggest question: Without four-time Morning Call All-Area defensive back Jarred Holley, who graduated with a school-record 21 interceptions in June, can the Red Rover secondary thwart opposing quarterbacks as it did during Holley's four seasons?
Outlook: Some things never change. Easton being tough and good are two of them. Once again, the Rovers will be a punishing team on both sides of the ball and should qualify for the district playoffs a 10th straight season.
Coach: Joe Bottiglieri (seventh year, 36-28 at Emmaus, 42-33 overall)
Last year: 7-4 (6-3, LVC), lost in District 11-2 Class 4A quarterfinals.
Impact players: TE/DE Ryan Foltz, sr.; RB/DB C.J. Billera, sr; FB/ OLB Luke Trexler, sr.; QB/DB Matt Johnson, sr.; OT Bill Viscuso, sr.; ILB Jake Hildebrans, sr.; OG/DT Adam Polster, sr.; OG/DT Shawn Tomsic, sr.; WR/FS Frank Wiseley, sr.; WR/DB Ryan Onuscho , sr. RB/DB Tate Klidonas, jr. FB/ILB Ty Souders, jr.
Biggest question: Without Joe Davis, last year's emotional and physical leader on both sides of the ball, and two other key two-way starters, will the Green Hornets be as formidable in the trenches?
Outlook: It helps that the unquestionably talented Green Hornets do not play Liberty in the regular season, but they still have games against Freedom, Easton and Parkland and may need to win at least two of those to validate themselves as one of the LVC's and district's best. Capable? Of course. Emmaus just needs to do it and stop talking about it.
Coach: Jason Roeder (fourth year, 16-16)
Last year: 9-3 (6-3 LVC), won Eastern Conference Class 4A title
