Narbonne 10, Galveston (Texas) O'Connell 2
Carlos Avila went three for four with a double and two solo homers and was named tourney MVP for Narbonne (8-3). His cousin Juan Avila went three for four with an RBI and Salvador Ramos went one for two and scored three runs. All three players were named to the all-tournament team.

Sammy Arce hit a solo home run and Bryan Mariscal pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts for Grant (5-4) at Pote Field.

Bell (6-1) scored eight runs in the bottom of the sixth, capped by an inside the park home run by Jesse Lopez that scored three. Brian Rocha and Semir Lopez combined on a two-hitter. Rocha was lifted from the game after the first inning for disciplinary reasons. Lopez struck out seven. North Hollywood dropped to 4-5-1.

David Park was two for three for Granada Hills (5-6).

Chris Reed allowed three hits and struck out seven in seven innings for Cleveland, No.23 by The Times, while Jake Olbath drove in the winning run on a fielder's choice in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Championship
Cleveland 16, Las Vegas Arbor View (Nev.) 2 (5 innings)
Clevaland (9-2-1), which scored 10 times in the second inning, was led by Rigo Ramirez and John Wilson with three for three and two runs scored, and Nick Kaiv two for four with a home run and four RBIs. Wilson, who won the semifinal game in relief, picthed four innings to gain his second victory on the day. Juan Perez, who had two hits and had a .615 average for the tournament, was named MVP. Robert Almendariz and Brady Moore and Jordan Liss also contributed two hits apiece to the victory
Consolation
Chatsworth 13, San Diego Horizon 1
Ryan Cooperstone was three for four and two RBI and Casey Toven finished two for four with a pair of stolen bases for Chatsworth (8-3).
El Camino Real 2, Las Vegas Palo Verde 1
J.P. Cohn gave two hits in five-plus innings of work for El Camino Real (9-3).

Edgar Olmes had two hits, a run batted in and picked up the save for the Patriots (4-4). Alfredo Limon also had two hits, including a triple, and starting pitcher Kevin Torres pitched 6 1/3 innings, striking out six to improve to 1-1.

Granada Hills 3, Boulder Creek (Ariz.) 0
David Park went two for four with a double and two RBI and Nathan Davis tossed a three-hitter, striking out four, for Granada Hills (5-3) in the victory over Boulder Creek.

Crenshaw 15, L.A. Hamilton 4
Sophomore third baseman Le'jon Baker of Crenshaw (3-5) was four for four with thee runs scores, a double, a triple, three stolen bases and five RBI at CS Dominguez Hills. Senior Cameron Hart was three for three with four scored runs double one RBI and three stolen bases for the Golden Cougars.
Fairfax 4, Los Angeles CES 3
Justin Curtis (2-0) threw all seven innings for the victory and went two for three with the game-winning RBI on a single in the fifth inning to go with three stolen bases for Fairfax (3-1) at L.A. CES. Fairfax left fielder Juan Bruno threw out the potential tying run at home with one out in the top of the seventh inning and teammate Vince Gamez added two hits and one RBI and threw out three base runners from behind the plate.
Los Angeles 6, Venice 5
Antonio Vielman and Mario Villarreal each had three hits for Los Angeles (3-2) as the Romans built a 6-1 lead and then withstood a four run ralley by Venice in the seventh inning at at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Villareal is now 1-0. Venice (2-10) lost four the ninth time in its last 10 games. J.D. Rodriguez of Venice doubled, tripled and scored once for Venice.
