Robert Almendarez was three for three with a home run and three runs batted in for Times No. 25 Cleveland (17-3-1), while Niko Garcia, Juan Perez and Nick Kaye each collected two hits. Santa Barbara is 11-5.

Chatsworth 9, San Fernando 1
Ryan Cooperstone (2-0) pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks and went three for three with a double, a single and two RBIs and Derek Neely hit a two-run home run in the second inning for host Chatsworth (15-4). Miguel Ceja hit a RBI single in the fourth inning for San Fernando (7-11)

Granada Hills 17, Sun Valley Poly 0 (5 innings)
Mathew Troupe (2-0) pitched a one-hitter with three strikeouts and went two for two with two RBIs for host Granada Hills (7-13). Daniel Pohl went three for three with two RBIs and Nick Kirastoulis had one hit and four RBIs for the Highlanders.

Narbonne 3, Arleta 2
Sergio Placensia (3-1) went six innings and allowed four hits for Narbonne (15-5), as did Javy Lopez (3-1) for Arleta (11-5). Freshman Eric Trujillo scored both Arleta runs and was two for three.

Fredy Santana tossed four scoreless innings, striking out three, and Joel Romero struck out four in four innings of relief for host Wilmington Banning (12-7-1) in the victory over Simi Valley (13-6).
