Freshman Cody Kurz went three for four with a three-run homer and Steve Trejo went three for four with two RBI. Dewey Grattan hit a solo home run as part of a four for four day at the plate for Moorpark (16-9).

Jojo Sharrar drove in both runs on two hits and Jack Marder went two for three with a double, giving him a single-season school record of 14. He has a school career-record of 26 doubles. Hart fell to 17-6.

Dylan Jones went three for four with a solo home run and Robbie Mousselli went two for four with a three-run homer for host Valencia (17-6), ranked No. 14 by The Times. Steven Labrada threw a complete-game in 51 pitches, allowing three hits. Kennedy fell to 15-10.

Anthony Gallucci goes five innings, allowing no runs and scattereing three 3 hits, while Cutter Dykstra was three for four with a double, and Shane Kroker and Josh Gray each connecting on a two-run home run, for Westlake (13-10). St. Paul falls to 16-10.
