Top high school games on Friday

West Hills Chaminade at Westlake Village Oaks Christian, 7 p.m.: These are both preseason top-15 teams loaded with quality underclassmen. It’s going to come down to whether Oaks Christian can handle the Eagles’ promising running game, led by T.J. Pledger, Andrew Van Buren and an experienced offensive line. Oaks Christian quarterback Matt Corral should be effective, but the Lions need to make sure Chaminade doesn’t maintain control of the ball. The pick: Chaminade.

Harbor City Narbonne at Gardena Serra, 7 p.m.: Narbonne, the defending City Section Division I champion, has a strong defense featuring three likely All-City linebackers. Junior Jalen Chatman takes over as the starting quarterback for the Gauchos. Serra lost last week to Arizona Saguero, 35-20. The Cavaliers are young but have talent. The pick: Narbonne.
