Baseball: Boras Classic announces first-round pairings
The first-round pairings have been announced for the Southern California bracket of the Boras Classic that begins on April 7.
San Clemente tops the upper bracket and will play Chatsworth in an opening game at 3 p.m. at JSerra. Palm Desert will face Alemany at noon at JSerra. Great Oak will play Damien at 9 a.m. at JSerra. Granite Hills will play JSerra at 6 p.m.
In the bottom bracket, it’s Birmingham taking on Huntington Beach at 3 p.m. at Mater Dei. Aliso Niguel faces Vista Murrieta at 9 a.m. at Mater Dei. Chaminade plays Long Beach Wilson at noon at Mater Dei. Corona takes on Mater Dei at 6 p.m.
The championship game is April 10 at 6 p.m. at JSerra.
