Baseball: Easton tournament schedule is finalized

The 32-team Southern California Showdown sponsored by Easton begins on Feb. 27 (weather permitting), and the tournament has Southern California’s top pro prospect in Chaminade outfielder Blake Rutherford.

First-round games on Feb. 27: Camarillo at Burbank; Dos Pueblos at Quartz Hill; Chatsworth at Crespi; Agoura at Alemany; El Camino Real at Lancaster; Village Christian at Valencia; Harvard-Westlake at Sun Valley Poly; Rio Mesa at Newbury Park; Loyola at Westlake; Saugus at Thousand Oaks; Moorpark at Malibu; Calabasas at Birmingham; Simi Valley at Ventura; Oaks Christian at Hart; West Ranch at Taft; Burroughs at Chaminade.
