Pitcher Austin Isenhart has come through repeatedly this season in big games for Glendora, and there was no bigger game than Friday's regular-season finale against South Hills for the Palomares League title.

The senior left-hander threw a five-hit shutout in Glendora's 5-0 victory. Race Gardner went three for three with two RBIs. Glendora improved to 22-7 and 10-5. South Hills dropped to 19-8-1 and 9-5-1.

Ayala defeated Diamond Bar, 7-1. Ayala now must wait to see if Bonita loses to Claremont on Saturday. That's the only way Ayala can make the playoffs.

In the Bay League, Mira Costa completed a two-game sweep of Redondo and finished tied for first place with a 6-3 win. Will Proctor hit a two-run home run. Trevor Franklin picked up the win.

In the Pacific League, Crescenta Valley defeated Arcadia, 7-2. Brian Gadsby threw a complete game, striking out four. Adrian Damla, Kewin Ledesma and Brett Klein each had two RBIs.
