Harvard-Westlake can’t wait for the Southern Section Division 1 baseball playoffs. The Wolverines are 15-0 in nonleague games after a 7-0 win over Bishop Amat on Saturday. But first they need to make the playoffs.

Harvard-Westlake is 5-3 in the Mission League and in fourth place.

“I think it’s a huge indication that each team in our league can beat anybody on any given day,” Coach Matt LaCour said.

The Wolverines end their season with a two-game series this coming week against Alemany and a two-game series against Chaminade the following week. They need at least one win out of those four games to probably clinch a playoff spot.
