Baseball: Joe Pace, Hunter Greene hit home runs in 15-2 Notre Dame win

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame showed off its power on Tuesday. Joe Pace (four RBI) and Hunter Greene (three RBI) each hit home runs in a 15-2 rout of Chaminade in a Mission League game.

The Knights (15-5, 4-3) received a complete game from Chris Collins. Nick Kahle hit a two-run home run for Chaminade.

Harvard-Westlake (16-3, 4-3) defeated Crespi, 10-0. Ezra Steinberg finished with three hits and five RBI. Loyola (12-10, 4-1) defeated St. Francis, 3-2. Holden Groff threw a complete game, giving up three hits while striking out seven. Matt McGeagh and Christian Gambale each had two hits.

In the Moore League, Josh Rios pitched Long Beach Poly past Long Beach Wilson, 1-0.

Sierra Canyon (14-4) defeated Brentwood, 8-0. Christian Hernandez threw six shutout innings. Seth Stone had three hits and four RBI.

Kevin Gowdy struck out 11 and allowed one hit in Santa Barbara’s 3-0 win over Dos Pueblos. The Dons (13-7, 5-2) took over first place in the Channel League.

Chris Davidson struck out nine in Village Christian’s 7-3 win over Whittier Christian.

Junior Ruiz pitched Warren past Downey, 4-0. Tony Monroy and Steven Nuno had two RBI each.

Temescal Canyon defeated Lakeside, 13-1. Dave McKesson struck out 11 in five innings.

In the Pacific League, Burroughs defeated Pasadena, 4-2. Thomas Wilson threw a complete game, allowing five hits. Glendale defeated Burbank, 6-3. Crescenta Valley defeated Hoover, 11-1, in five innings.

In the Del Rey League, Bishop Amat defeated La Salle, 4-2. Jayson Gonzalez contributed three hits.

Dylan Orick had three hits in King’s 8-2 win over Corona Santiago. Norco rallied for a 6-5 win over Corona.

Los Osos defeated Rancho Cucamonga, 2-0. Davis Moore went three for three.

Eric Brunst threw the shutout in University’s 2-0 win over Beckman.

El Segundo defeated Culver City, 5-1. Willem Mostert threw the complete game. Lars Nootbaar had three hits.

In the Citrus Belt League, Cajon (17-2) pulled out a 1-0 win over Redlands East Valley in the eighth inning. Taylor Sims threw eight shutout innings.

Baldwin Park defeated Sierra Vista, 2-1. Anthony Franco allowed five hits. Justin Padilla drove in both runs.

Woodcrest Christian (11-3) defeated Western Christian, 10-0.
