It’s tough enough to try to defeat unbeaten San Dimas when Peter Lambert isn’t pitching, but when he is on the mound, the chance for success is pretty much zilch.

Lambert is 8-0 this season with an ERA under 0.30 after throwing his latest shutout, a 6-0 victory over Nogales that improved San Dimas to 22-0.

All he does his throw strikes, and with a fastball topping 92 mph, that makes it difficult on opponents. He struck out seven, walked none and gave up four hits. He’s a 6-foot-2 right-hander who signed with UCLA but will have pro options.
