Boys’ basketball: Tyler Dorsey leads SoCal contingent at Adidas Nations
Standout junior guard Tyler Dorsey of Bellflower St. John Bosco will participate in the four-day Adidas Nations competition this weekend in Garden Grove and Long Beach. Earlier, Dorsey was offered a scholarship by Duke.
Games will be held Friday through Sunday at the Next Level Sports Complex in Garden Grove. The championship game will be Monday at 4 p.m. at Long Beach City College.
Dorsey is playing for the USA 2015/2016 Blue team. On the red team is Sedrick Barefield from Corona Centennial, Aaron Holiday from Campbell Hall and Cameron Walker from Righetti.
On the 2014 Blue team is Daniel Hamilton from St. John Bosco. On the 2014 Red team is Stanley Johnson from Mater Dei and former Pacific Hills standout Namon Wright from Findlay Prep.
