Defensive coordinator Joe Silvey has been hired as the head coach at Trabuco Hills. He replaces Tony Henney, who left for Westlake.

Henney raved about Silvey's contributions last season. He has extensive coaching experience, having coached in the San Diego area.

His hiring means St. John Bosco Coach Jason Negro can breathe a sigh of relief, because his offensive coordinator, Chad Johnson, was someone some Trabuco Hills supporters had sought.
