She was scheduled to be presented her award on Thursday morning at Mater Dei by WNBA All-Star Elena Delle Donne.

Samuelson scored a school-record 42 points for the Monarchs earlier this season. She's considered the best scorer in girls' basketball in California, if not the nation.
