The CIF winter all-century team is announced

In celebrating its 100th anniversary, the CIF asked fans to select its all-century team for winter sport athletes.

Fans were given the chance to vote.

Among the athletes selected were Gail Goodrich of Sun Valley Poly, Curtis Rowe of Fremont, Bill Walton of La Mesa Helix, Marques Johnson of Crenshaw, Ann Meyers of Sonora, Cheryl Miller of Riverside Poly, Reggie Miller of Riverside Poly, Baron Davis of Crossroads . . . In other words, fans like lots of basketball players.
