Yates commits to HCC
Tuscarora senior Justin Yates recently committed to Hagerstown Community College.
Yates had 26 goals and 35 assists in his career with the Titans. He was an All-MVAL Piedmont Conference first-team selection last fall, when he helped lead the Titans to a 9-2-5 record.

Minnich finishes eighth in Tino Martinez Award balloting
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — Shepherd University junior designated hitter Nathan Minnich, a Waynesboro graduate, finished eighth in the 2011 Tino Martinez NCAA Division II Player of the Year Award balloting.
Minnich batted .433 with 14 home runs and 38 RBIs in 120 at-bats this spring.
