Update: This will be a new experience for Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi, who played a key role in the Penguins’ Stanley Cup triumph last spring but left as a free agent. “I played with a lot of those guys and we’ve kind of grown as a team and achieved the ultimate success at the NHL level,” he said. “It should be a little weird. . . . They’re a very good team and it should be a really good test for us.” Winger Alexander Frolov practiced Wednesday after taking a day to rest a sore hip. The Penguins are 7-0-0 on the road after their 4-3 win over the Ducks on Tuesday.
