BRAWLEY — San Francisco Giants closer and Brawley native Sergio Romo is coming home and in style.

Romo will make a special appearance at today’s 69th annual Bell Game here.

Romo will be flown in on a helicopter along with Brawley Mayor George Nava and land on the 50-yard line at Brawley’s field at 6:45 p.m. before the kickoff of the Bell Game.

Nava will then give Romo a key to the city. Romo will stay for the entire game.

Romo and his Giants recently won the World Series with a 4-0 sweep. In the Series, Romo recorded three saves in three opportunities. It was also the second World Series win for Romo with the Giants.
