The pressure is on Clint Bowyer in more ways then one. Not only is the Kansas Kid fighting for a spot in NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup, but he also seams to be auditioning for sponsors and race teams as he still does not have a contract signed with Richard Childress Racing for next season.
The big news out of Bristol was a report that Bowyer has an offer on the table from Richard Petty Motorsports, RPM majority owner Andrew Murstein, told Sirius XM NASCAR Radio that the ball is now in Bowyer's court.
"We gave him an offer recently and are hoping to hear back from him," Murstein said.
All the talk and speculation about his contract status seems to be frustrating Bowyer.
