Brad Keselowski had just enough fuel left to take the checkered flag Sunday at Dover International Speedway for his second victory in three weeks.
Keselowski won the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship opener at Chicagloland and followed that by conserving enough fuel down the stretch at Dover.
Keselowski raced to his fifth victory of the season and zipped into the points lead.
Chase driver Jeff Gordon finished second. Jimmie Johnson lost his grip on the points lead with a fourth-place finish.
Johnson and Denny Hamlin, who faded to eighth, had two of the top cars all race. They just did not have enough fuel to make a hard, clean push in the closing laps of the 400-mile race.
There are seven races left in the Chase.

Local notes: Kansas native Clint Bowyer had a steady run at Dover and finished ninth. The top 10 finish helped Bowyer jump up two spots to forth in the standings. Though he games places in the standings, he still lost ground going from 15 points to 25 points out of first place.

"We just didn't have the mileage to go there until the end," said Bowyer's crew Chief Brian Pattie. "Our car was burning the right rear tire off too soon.  So, when you do that, you just fall off the pace so bad.  It kind of stinks.  This team wants to run top-five every week, and ninth-place isn't good enough.  We'll go to Talladega and hopefully shake them up there."
