Former Wichita State head coach and former Kansas player Mark Turgeon probably liked getting this win just a little bit more than most others. Today his Texas A&M Aggies held off the Kansas State Wildcats, 64-56.
Jacob Pullen led the Wildcats in scoring with 21 while Curtis Kelly added a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The 'Cats couldn't score from the outside, shooting just 20 percent (5-20) from three-point range. Kansas State also shot just 57% from the free throw line compared to 72% for the Aggies.
Khris Middleton paced the Aggies with 18 points as 10th ranked Texas A&M moves to 17-2 while the Wildcats fall to 13-7.
