2007-10-23 13:03:10.0 Administrator2: Hi all, and welcome to the Lakers Chat with Andrew and Brian Kamenetzky!

2007-10-23 13:03:15.0 Administrator2: Welcome Andrew and Brian!

2007-10-23 13:03:21.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Hey. How’s everyone doing?

2007-10-23 13:03:34.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: What up, everyone?

2007-10-23 13:03:37.0 kazsim: Is Kobe going to be a Laker next year?

2007-10-23 13:03:45.0 kazsim: Hello

2007-10-23 13:04:32.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I think he will. But Not everyone agrees with me on that.

2007-10-23 13:04:36.0 hudster: how long until Jerry Buss speaks about the situation again?

2007-10-23 13:05:30.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Hudster - With any luck, Buss will never mention the word “Kobe” again until it’s announced that he’s being traded or resigned. There is no need for him to give an update.

2007-10-23 13:05:32.0 kazsim: I agree, I do not think that both aprties want out, I think it is frustration and feelings involved

2007-10-23 13:05:43.0 iluvbball: what do you think the lakers roster will look like when the season opens? who’s likely to get cut from the pre-season squad aside from the obvious?

2007-10-23 13:06:07.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Hudster - Nothing good will come from this getting played out in the media... Well, except from BK and my end... haha

2007-10-23 13:06:16.0 kazsim: Is Lamar the Key to success this year?

2007-10-23 13:06:31.0 Brian Kamenetzky: kazsim- No, I really think Kobe wants out. I just don’t think he’ll be moved quickly. Maybe by the draft, but I don’t think before next year.

2007-10-23 13:06:42.0 hudster: Buss could smooth things over by giving the media a statement

2007-10-23 13:07:48.0 Brian Kamenetzky: hudster- There’s really nothing for him to say. A) you can’t take back what’s been said, and b) it doesn’t change the reality that if Kobe wants out, the Lakers have to look into trading him.

2007-10-23 13:07:51.0 kazsim: Is there any chance on getting Marion before the season starts

2007-10-23 13:08:10.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Kazsim - In my opinion, LO has always been this team’s X-Factor. Some will say this team goes as far as Kobe goes, but I disagree. Everybody knows what Kobe will bring and he almost always delivers. But he needs help and LO is the key. When playing at the top of his game, LO is a very difficult cover and a solid defender.

2007-10-23 13:08:19.0 Rick: What is the likelyhood of Coby Karl making the roster?

2007-10-23 13:08:43.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Kazsim, I’d be stunned if Marion was a Laker before the season starts. Frankly, I’d be pretty surprised if he ended up a Laker, period.

2007-10-23 13:08:49.0 wesjoenixon: Is this really live?

2007-10-23 13:08:56.0 Administrator2: We’re live, Wes!

2007-10-23 13:09:03.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Wesjoe - It ain’t Memorex. haha

2007-10-23 13:09:24.0 kazsim: We just type slowwwww

2007-10-23 13:09:36.0 kazsim: I do at least LOL

2007-10-23 13:09:37.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Rick- If you’re asking me to put money on it, I’ll say he won’t make it. Recent comments by PJ seem to indicate he’d really prefer to keep 14 players on the roster, and Sasha hasn’t played his way off the team (quite the opposite, really). Plus, Karl really had to kick ass to make the team, and while he’s been good, he hasn’t been great.

2007-10-23 13:09:43.0 iluvbball: what impact player is out there anyway, let’s say next year granted that kobe is willing to stay and see what the lakers do?

2007-10-23 13:10:09.0 Brian Kamenetzky: iluvbball- I think you and the Lakers are of similar mindset on that.

2007-10-23 13:10:14.0 wesjoenixon: Great...I think fox sports “rumors” has Kobe being traded this week...anything to this slanderous verbage?

2007-10-23 13:10:45.0 Brian Kamenetzky: wesjoenixon- I hear he’s heading to Milwaukee.

2007-10-23 13:10:49.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Just kidding.

2007-10-23 13:10:52.0 Rico: WHO would you start at CENTER and why?

2007-10-23 13:10:59.0 kazsim: thats not funny

2007-10-23 13:11:01.0 Brian Kamenetzky: But can you imagine that? Kobe playing for the freakin’ Bucks?

2007-10-23 13:11:13.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Kazsim- It’s a little funny.

2007-10-23 13:11:18.0 iluvbball: lol... great market for kobe

2007-10-23 13:11:21.0 kazsim: Your right

2007-10-23 13:11:28.0 wesjoenixon: yeah? have him stop by south bend to get me....I’ve had enough of the fightin’ Irish to last me forever

2007-10-23 13:12:13.0 kazsim: He would have all of the offense he can handle

2007-10-23 13:12:38.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Wesjoe - If Kobe does want to go to Milwaukee, if I’m Jerry Buss, I don’t make that trade unless Jake Voskuhl is included. haha

2007-10-23 13:12:57.0 wesjoenixon: is that the contraversial Guner i see?

2007-10-23 13:12:59.0 Brian Kamenetzky: He’d be the biggest thing to hit there since Laverne and Shirley.

2007-10-23 13:13:09.0 Rick: Jake is still in the league?

2007-10-23 13:13:21.0 wesjoenixon: lenny and squiggy were bigger

2007-10-23 13:13:25.0 kazsim: Score like a 100 on the lakers

2007-10-23 13:13:28.0 hudster: Any update on Mihm, he looked awful in the game against the Clips.....

2007-10-23 13:14:11.0 wesjoenixon: comeon gunner talk..i want to see what you talk like in person..

2007-10-23 13:14:37.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Rick - He’s 7 feet and a hard worker willing to do the dirty work. That combo will keep you around a LONG time. haha

2007-10-23 13:14:50.0 Brian Kamenetzky: hudster- Mihm is going to be hot adn cold for a while. The biggest problem is going to be his defense. He’s a step behind (at least) as it is, coming off the ankle surgery and still has some pain...

2007-10-23 13:14:54.0 Rick: Are the Lakers likely to make any small moves, such as Brian Cook for a second round draft pick?

2007-10-23 13:15:14.0 hudster: I would love to see them move Brian Cook

2007-10-23 13:15:29.0 kazsim: for anyone

2007-10-23 13:15:40.0 hudster: ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2007-10-23 13:15:45.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Rick - They can’t trade Cook for a second round pick, I don’t think. The salaries don;t match.

2007-10-23 13:15:49.0 Brian Kamenetzky: ...but his reaction times are definitely too slow on the defensive end. Offensively it’s easier, because he’s not reacting, he’s (in theory) creating and forcing the issue.

2007-10-23 13:15:58.0 Gunner: wes, i already ask a question. i’m waiting on a response.

2007-10-23 13:16:07.0 Administrator2: ...and here it is!:

2007-10-23 13:16:09.0 Gunner: Will Kobe ever learn how to lead the team? Or do we have to wait for Dwade to arrive?

2007-10-23 13:16:11.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Why would you trade Cook for a second round pick? What good does that do?

2007-10-23 13:16:13.0 Kyle: Cook is the poor man’s Antoine Walker, if such a thing exists

2007-10-23 13:16:15.0 exhelodrvr: How about for a club sandwich?

2007-10-23 13:16:41.0 kazsim: Sounds good

2007-10-23 13:16:58.0 exhelodrvr: Because with the second round pick, then all you have to do is grab a Tony Parker that everyone else has missed.

2007-10-23 13:17:03.0 eagleboy: If Cook is a poormans Walker he must be homeless

2007-10-23 13:17:09.0 wesjoenixon: My lord AK/BK how can you keep up w/ all these questions?

2007-10-23 13:17:16.0 kazsim: Wade will arrive in some type of cast or sling and show us how to hurt oneself

2007-10-23 13:17:22.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Kyle - There are some who consider Cook to be a rich to adequately financed man’s Vlad. Which is actually kinda ironic. haha

2007-10-23 13:17:24.0 Kyle: i didn’t say it wasn’t tragic

2007-10-23 13:17:33.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Gunner- Well, Wade isn’t coming. I don’t think he’ll leave Miami when he becomes a FA. As far as leadership goes, he’s imperfect, but not terrible. Last season he did a nice job in that facilitator role before everyone got hurt. Obviously the context has changed and not for the better, but I’m not entirely sure I accept the wording of your questions.

2007-10-23 13:17:35.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Question, I should say.

2007-10-23 13:17:56.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Hey Sonny.

2007-10-23 13:18:10.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Ex, and all who just arrived as well

2007-10-23 13:18:26.0 sonnybelfast: hey AK

2007-10-23 13:18:29.0 Administrator2: Hi folks, if you’ve submitted a question and haven’t seen it appear in the chat room yet, don’t worry: just trying to send ‘em out one at a time so Andrew and Brian have time to type.

2007-10-23 13:18:41.0 Brian Kamenetzky: and get a latte.

2007-10-23 13:18:47.0 wesjoenixon: AK/BK any new tag-team literature coming up soon?

2007-10-23 13:18:59.0 sonnybelfast: Gotta run soon, but I wanted to check it out.

2007-10-23 13:19:06.0 kazsim: NOt a question but a statement..I live in Washington, I moved from L.A. 4 years ago. The Blog is the only way that I get info. Thank AK and BK!

2007-10-23 13:19:22.0 Brian Kamenetzky: wes- Thanks for teh opportunity to plug something big... but I’m afraid not. Althought there is always the SportsHub.

2007-10-23 13:19:31.0 Kyle: Please tell me the Lakers are shopping Kwame

2007-10-23 13:19:58.0 exhelodrvr: Sportshub? What is that?

2007-10-23 13:20:00.0 hudster: As a side note Caron Butler averaged 19 pts and 7 rebounds last year

2007-10-23 13:20:11.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Kyle- I’m sure they will, but in a way you ahve to hope for him to play well to raise his value. Right now, coming off the injury, he doesn’t have much, despite the expiring deal.

2007-10-23 13:20:18.0 Kyle: ouch

2007-10-23 13:20:23.0 Jeremy: Is Walton’s injury going to keep himout tonight?

2007-10-23 13:20:26.0 exhelodrvr: You can pay me the five bucks later

2007-10-23 13:20:28.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Kyle - I imagine they will shop Kwame, but not until the season progresses and they’re closer to the deadline. I’d be fairly surprised if Kwame was on the team by the end of the year.

2007-10-23 13:20:38.0 kazsim: Where is ceballos when you need him

2007-10-23 13:20:49.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Ex, you’re the man now, dog!!!!!!

2007-10-23 13:20:58.0 Rico: WHO would you guys start at CENTER and why?

2007-10-23 13:21:03.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Ex- Just the fastest growing, most insightful new independent LA sports website on the scene!

2007-10-23 13:21:10.0 eagleboy: kazzim - Ced is at the Lake of course!

2007-10-23 13:21:12.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I’ll make it ten bucks, by the way.

2007-10-23 13:21:23.0 kazsim: in havasu

2007-10-23 13:21:45.0 exhelodrvr: Sounds like something really worth checking out!!

2007-10-23 13:21:50.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Isn’t that where Robert Duvall was going to move with his wife in Falling Down?

2007-10-23 13:22:02.0 kazsim: what abount perkins, sleepy or stony

2007-10-23 13:22:35.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Kazsim- You mean Kendrick? I know the Celtics are looking for a breakout year from him--- but he could be a little of both.

2007-10-23 13:22:38.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Rico, Right now, I’d start Bynum, since neither Kwame or Mihm can really handle the minutes due to injury. And ultimately, if he can play well enough, he’d be the ideal, i think. He’s the “guy,” so to speak, for all intents and purposes. He also brings the best mesh of O and D, in my opinion.

2007-10-23 13:23:05.0 wesjoenixon: has kwame improved at all, or too soon to tell?

2007-10-23 13:23:08.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Rico- I agree with AK. Given Kwame’s limited health right now, I think Bynum is the way to go.

2007-10-23 13:23:20.0 wesjoenixon: Under what circumstances would Kwame NOT be traded?

2007-10-23 13:23:23.0 kazsim: just reminding myself of the worse times as a Laker Fan

2007-10-23 13:23:46.0 Rico: I agree he is the best shot blocker and scorer at that position THKS

2007-10-23 13:24:09.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Of course, it also depends on who you’re starting at the 4. If it’s Ronny, that’s fine. Kwame, probably okay (even though it leaves them scrapping offensively). But I don’t think Mihm at the 4 (as has been bandied about a bit) will work for defensive purposes. On O, they be okay, but outisde of specific matchups, neither Mihm nor Bynum could guard a lot of 4’s.

2007-10-23 13:24:17.0 Brian Kamenetzky: wesjoe- Too soon to tell, I think, but I’m not holding my breath. As far as him not being traded, there are two scenarios that make that possible: A) nobody wants him, B) he plays so well he becomes indespensable (sp?) to the team and they can’t afford to move him at the deadline.

2007-10-23 13:24:23.0 eagleboy: Does anyone think the Lakers - with a roster very similar to the one that pushed the Suns 2 years ago - if healthy - can be a surprise team?

2007-10-23 13:24:25.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I think the former is more likely.

2007-10-23 13:24:33.0 exhelodrvr: wesjoe, If the Lakers are on fire, they won’t want to mess with the chemistry. Otherwise, I think he’s gone. If they just let him walk at the end of the season, they get nothing from his contract, because they are too far over the cap.

2007-10-23 13:24:47.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: WesJoe - Well, it’s a little known fact, but kwame does own the NBA’s other “no trade clause.” Him and Kobe. haha

2007-10-23 13:24:49.0 kazsim: eagleboy-yes

2007-10-23 13:25:16.0 hudster: KWAME HAS A NO-TRADE!!!!!!!!!! UNREAL!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB MITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2007-10-23 13:25:40.0 eagleboy: I thought Kobe was the only player in NBA with a no trade clause

2007-10-23 13:25:45.0 Brian Kamenetzky: eagleboy- If you mean a good surprise, like a hot chick popping out of a giant birthday cake or a new iPhone... probably not. Although it does depend a litttle on what you mean by “surprise”.../

2007-10-23 13:25:52.0 kazsim: The Lakers can Suprise if they play as a team

2007-10-23 13:25:58.0 wesjoenixon: What kind of *real* value does an expiring contract have these days? How many teams are 8 million over the luxury tax by 9 million dollars

2007-10-23 13:26:08.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Hudster - Just in case, you’re not kidding, to clarify, I was...

2007-10-23 13:26:30.0 hudster: oh man.... you had me real pissed there for a second

2007-10-23 13:26:34.0 Brian Kamenetzky: ...If you mean winning 48 games and maybe sneaking into the second round, sure. That could happen (I don’t think it will, though). If you mean WCF or Finals, no.

2007-10-23 13:26:40.0 exhelodrvr: Have you two given your predictions yet for number of wins/playoff seeding?

2007-10-23 13:26:43.0 eagleboy: Who doesn’t like hot chicks popping out of cakes? But I was thinking of as in getting past the 1st round of the playoffs

2007-10-23 13:27:20.0 Jeremy: Lets see Kwame try to throw that cake.

2007-10-23 13:27:24.0 eagleboy: maybe Kwame can arrange for the cake....

2007-10-23 13:27:45.0 eagleboy: nah Kwame would drop it!

2007-10-23 13:27:54.0 Brian Kamenetzky: eagleboy- I should have known what would happen when I used Kwame and cake in the same sentence. Haha.

2007-10-23 13:28:24.0 eagleboy: only Kwame could get accused of throwing a cake!

2007-10-23 13:28:39.0 kazsim: So you are saying that we shouldtrade a cake for Cook

2007-10-23 13:28:47.0 hudster: YES!!!!!!!!!!

2007-10-23 13:28:52.0 Brian Kamenetzky: kazsim- What kind of cake?

2007-10-23 13:28:59.0 hudster: who cares

2007-10-23 13:29:04.0 kazsim: It may play better defense

2007-10-23 13:29:06.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Ex - I’m waiting to see ifCoby Karl makes the team. That could make the difference in a few W’s or a seed. haha

2007-10-23 13:29:12.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Portos? That stuff is tasty.

2007-10-23 13:29:18.0 Gunner: Do you think Lamar will suit out for Game 1?

2007-10-23 13:29:25.0 kazsim: Stop the other to eat, maybe we can score a basket

2007-10-23 13:30:31.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Gunner - If you’re asking if LO will “suit up,” my guess is no. If you’re asking if he’ll “sit out,” my answer is yes. If you’re asking if he’ll “suit out,” I’m not familiar with that term.

2007-10-23 13:30:46.0 hudster: what do you think Phil will end up doing with the offense? Do you think they will continue to try and push the ball or will they fall back into triangle only?

2007-10-23 13:31:20.0 Brian Kamenetzky: hudster- They’ll try to push, but in the halfcourt, you’ll still see plenty of triangle. But they don’t run it every possession, neither have they in the past.

2007-10-23 13:31:24.0 smarmy: how much of what Vescey wrote regarding Phil being in charge of personnel decisions do y’all think is true?

2007-10-23 13:32:28.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: “Smarmy” is asking about Vescey? Irony Alert! haha

2007-10-23 13:33:22.0 wesjoenixon: Will the fans be OK with just letting Kwame’s contract expire with no talent in return, just luxury tax relief? The guy cost us Butler and 1/3 of Shaq! He has the be traded! No?

2007-10-23 13:33:27.0 hudster: BK, I like how the team looks when Farmar is in and they push the ball. It seems like D-Fish is better in a half court offense.

2007-10-23 13:33:47.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: All kidding aside, I’m sure Phil has a decent amount of pull, but I don’t know if he has the “ultimate” say, so to speak. And to be frank, I always talk Vecsey’s columns with a certain grain of salt. But that’s just me.

2007-10-23 13:34:08.0 smarmy: pass the salt.

2007-10-23 13:34:26.0 kazsim: are Vescey and Carlisimo brothers?

2007-10-23 13:34:28.0 Rico: D Fish isbetter at Half Court/ Farmar is better at the running game

2007-10-23 13:34:37.0 Brian Kamenetzky: hudster- I would agree with that point- Farmar is more natural pushing the ball, which makes sense. There will be a difference between how all this translates out once the real games start (remember, it’s preseason) but I do think generally, you’ll see more pushing of the ball with JF in the game.

2007-10-23 13:34:50.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Wesjoe, in fairness to Kwame, you are forgetting the third of a season of Laron Profit he provided.

2007-10-23 13:34:55.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: haha

2007-10-23 13:34:57.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Velisimo.

2007-10-23 13:34:59.0 Gunner: AK or BK, if you had your choice who would be the starting five?

2007-10-23 13:35:58.0 charles: what up blog nation!

2007-10-23 13:36:15.0 wesjoenixon: Hi Charles..how’s the surgeries?

2007-10-23 13:36:39.0 naz_21: MID SEASON TRADE: KWAME, LO, FARMAR, EVANS FOR JERMAINE ONEAL & KAREEM RUSH

2007-10-23 13:36:41.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Gunner- With who’s healthy now? Fish, Kobe, Walton, Turiaf, Bynum. Once everyone’s good to go? I like Luke off the bench, with a combo of Turiaf/on of the other bigs playing PF pushing LO to SF.

2007-10-23 13:36:52.0 mikenb: what do you think about a Kobe for Arenas sign and trade this summer? Arenas can come back to LA, Kobe can go play with his buddy Caron in the East.

2007-10-23 13:37:15.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Some of this really does depend how healthy Kwame really is.

2007-10-23 13:37:23.0 naz_21: WHY WOUDN’T THIS TRADE WORK?

2007-10-23 13:37:54.0 kazsim: Being healthy doe not mean that he can catch a pass

2007-10-23 13:37:55.0 hudster: salary

2007-10-23 13:37:58.0 Brian Kamenetzky: naz- because if it did, they’d have JO by now, I would imagine. The Pacers have held out for Bynum and LO.

2007-10-23 13:38:13.0 Brian Kamenetzky: hudster- Salary, too, yes.

2007-10-23 13:38:16.0 charles: wesjoenixon getting the shoulder surgery done nov 15 and hip surgery sometime december

2007-10-23 13:38:21.0 wesjoenixon: We need to make the Kobe trade work for us. Youth, talent and decent contracts. No expensive stars for me..

2007-10-23 13:38:23.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I was talking about the basic player combinations.

2007-10-23 13:38:25.0 naz_21: AS LONG AS WE KEEP BYNUM AND CRITTENTON US LAKER FANS CAN STILL LOOK AT A BRIGHT FUTURE

2007-10-23 13:38:29.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Mikenb, I don’t know if it would improve the Lakers tremendously, but it would make them more fun, if nothing else. Arenas is nothing if not entertaining to have around.

2007-10-23 13:38:30.0 naz_21: THANKS

2007-10-23 13:38:40.0 hudster: why are you yelling

2007-10-23 13:39:08.0 naz_21: LOL CAPS CATCH UR ATTENTION MORE

2007-10-23 13:39:17.0 charles: BK AK thanks for the votes

2007-10-23 13:39:23.0 hudster: I will read it regardless

2007-10-23 13:39:34.0 charles: WESJOENIXON how are you man?

2007-10-23 13:39:38.0 Jeremy: I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY

2007-10-23 13:39:40.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Mike b, My question would be, if Kobe can’t carry these Lakers as is past a certain point, do you think Arenas could?

2007-10-23 13:40:05.0 kazsim: 2 years ago Kobe tried to be the facilitator and for the most part did not work , what will be different this year?

2007-10-23 13:40:09.0 oi890: kobe carries nothing

2007-10-23 13:40:11.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Charles- No worries. I love democracy.

2007-10-23 13:40:13.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Mike B, if yes (down the road, if nothing else) then sure, Arenas would make a lot of sense.

2007-10-23 13:40:20.0 oi890: excpet the scoring

2007-10-23 13:40:22.0 wesjoenixon: Charles...good...I miss the valley...

2007-10-23 13:40:26.0 charles: BK lol thanks

2007-10-23 13:40:29.0 mikenb: No, but at least you are getting all star talent back instead of a bunch of stiffs

2007-10-23 13:40:34.0 oi890: can’t make anyone around him better, never

2007-10-23 13:40:37.0 charles: WJN where u live now?

2007-10-23 13:40:42.0 hudster: I say no AK, Hybachi could not, but he would be cheaper and would allow more salary room for other parts that could help win it

2007-10-23 13:40:48.0 oi890: that’s why even dallas doesn’t want him

2007-10-23 13:40:50.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Kazsim- Last year, they had a lot of success at the top of the season with Kobe playing that role. It’s not that far off.

2007-10-23 13:40:57.0 charles: Kobe cant run the offense without a dominant scorer guys

2007-10-23 13:41:07.0 oi890: he won’t play that way for more than 20 games

2007-10-23 13:41:14.0 oi890: then his ego kicks in

2007-10-23 13:41:18.0 charles: and also he needs vets around him who will make the shot

2007-10-23 13:41:40.0 sonnybelfast: This venue is a nice side bar. It’s like sucking up the Laker Blog through a straw. I’ve got to get out of here in about 5 minutes, but I do have a hypothetical for you. If someone put up a million bucks and said it’s yours AK and BK if you guess right, how would you answer this question: Will Kobe still be a Laker one year from now?

2007-10-23 13:41:43.0 exhelodrvr: Hey, remember that these guys were only one rebound from beating the Suns, and now they are all familiar with the triangle!!

2007-10-23 13:41:46.0 kazsim: I think that The home schedule had a lot to do with it.

2007-10-23 13:41:49.0 wesjoenixon: Charles...I can see “Touchdown Jesus” from my yard...any idea?

2007-10-23 13:41:51.0 Gunner: oi890, are you trying to say kobe’s a ball hog?

2007-10-23 13:41:54.0 oi890: even w/shaq. i’m amazed they won together. but i guess kobe was still young then and couldn’t act the way he has the past 4 yeras

2007-10-23 13:41:57.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Hudster, I can see what you’re saying. And if you believe in guys like Bynum and Critter, they’ll be closer to ready by then.

2007-10-23 13:41:59.0 kazsim: Ithink that the biggest piece will be the trust factor and working through that

2007-10-23 13:42:06.0 umat: Why not Farmar in the facilitator role? Kobe just doesn’t do that well. It runs against his grain and game?

2007-10-23 13:42:19.0 naz_21: V-RAD NEEDS TO START, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIM AND LUKE IS THAT HE CAN SHOOT

2007-10-23 13:42:21.0 hudster: The problem with the Arenas trade is I dont think Kobe would approve going to washington

2007-10-23 13:42:29.0 Brian Kamenetzky: charles- It’s not so much running the offense as distributing shots and opportunities. He draws so much attention that if he (and teammates) can take advantage, it works well. But it’s not like he needs to be Jason Kidd.

2007-10-23 13:42:38.0 mikenb: It’s too bad Kobe has a no trade clause, because Atlanta would be perfect fit with Joe Johnson and some young talent

2007-10-23 13:42:41.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Sonny - It’s almost impossible to answer that without seeing how the team does this year, but if I was gonna try to get my mil, I’d guess no.

2007-10-23 13:43:07.0 charles: BK do you feel he should go back to the wing?

2007-10-23 13:43:09.0 naz_21: LAKERS VS CELTICS -NBA FINALS

2007-10-23 13:43:14.0 charles: WJN Indiana in the house

2007-10-23 13:43:17.0 naz_21: YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST

2007-10-23 13:43:26.0 wesjoenixon: Charles..last last Saturday thousands of Boston College students were wearing “Rudy Sucks” shirts

2007-10-23 13:43:29.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Sonny- I think he will, which is why I’m currently hunkering down for the journalistic equvilent of a nuclear winter.

2007-10-23 13:43:31.0 naz_21: LOL LATER

2007-10-23 13:43:33.0 Brian Kamenetzky: It’s gonna be rough.

2007-10-23 13:43:34.0 charles: naz I wish................

2007-10-23 13:43:40.0 eagleboy: naz - what year is that they reach the finals?

2007-10-23 13:43:42.0 wesjoenixon: Yes south bend..

2007-10-23 13:43:44.0 Brian Kamenetzky: and drawn out.

2007-10-23 13:43:53.0 exhelodrvr: If someone (other than Kobe) can hit consistently from outside, it will make a big difference. They have not had that for several years.

2007-10-23 13:44:04.0 Gunner: kobe being in a facilitator role is all about learning how to trust in his teammates. If he can’t do that, then the lakers are going nowhere. Farmar can not be a facilitator and kobe on the wing. then you’ll have alot of standing around watching the kobe show again.

2007-10-23 13:44:05.0 naz_21: NOT ANYTIME SOON

2007-10-23 13:44:36.0 eagleboy: Maybe Vlad will be the guy hitting the outside shot this year

2007-10-23 13:44:40.0 Bzar: my hope for this year is that Lamar plays this whole season the way he ended playing the last game of last year’s playoffs

2007-10-23 13:44:46.0 trikiw: do you think the lakers could trade for an all-star caliber center? if so, who?

2007-10-23 13:45:06.0 Bzar: we need that consistent 2nd scorer

2007-10-23 13:45:11.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Triki, unless they’re willing to trade Kobe, no.

2007-10-23 13:45:17.0 ose: we dont need a center we need a defensive minded pf

2007-10-23 13:45:18.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Bzar- I think that’s everyone’s hope.

2007-10-23 13:45:25.0 Brian Kamenetzky: How did he get the purple, by the way? I like that.

2007-10-23 13:45:28.0 charles: Gunner watup? havent seen you today

2007-10-23 13:45:31.0 xodus: no team in the league is going to trade an all star caliber center for any one we’ve got

2007-10-23 13:45:32.0 xodus: cept maybe kobe

2007-10-23 13:45:38.0 Rico: Who will be better in 1 years FARMAR or CRITTETON?

2007-10-23 13:45:43.0 Bzar: clicked that little box to the left of the form

2007-10-23 13:45:52.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Xodus, is there an echo in here? haha

2007-10-23 13:46:05.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Wow! That changes everything. Hold on!

2007-10-23 13:46:23.0 Administrator2: Bottom left, y’all, green box. Change colors to your heart’s content!

2007-10-23 13:46:25.0 ose: lol

2007-10-23 13:46:29.0 Gunner: charles, Gunner has been very busy. I’M CHILLING OUT WAITING ON GAME ONE NEXT WEEK. I WANT TO SEE WHICH KOBE SHOWS UP.

2007-10-23 13:46:34.0 naz_21: LISTEN CRITTEN IS BETTER AND WILL BE BETTER BECUZ HES GOT THE TALENT AND PHYSICAL FEATURES

2007-10-23 13:46:35.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: I’m going purple, baby!

2007-10-23 13:46:39.0 wesjoenixon: The difference bt Kobe and Mike--Kobe is only the best offensive and defensive player. but not a top 5 point guard...Mike was

2007-10-23 13:46:40.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Red. The color of kings.

2007-10-23 13:46:42.0 kazsim: The colors there so beautiful

2007-10-23 13:46:53.0 umat: Kobe will sho

2007-10-23 13:46:55.0 Bzar: isn’t that for Sonny?

2007-10-23 13:46:59.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Of course, I’m colorblind, and technically “the color of kings” is purple, so I might be typing in green anyway and not know it.

2007-10-23 13:47:09.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Red really is Tiger’s color on Sunday, which is good enough for me.

2007-10-23 13:47:14.0 naz_21: GOLD THE COLOR OF TRUE KINGS

2007-10-23 13:47:16.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: That’s BK’s way of subtlely declaring his Clipper love, just so fans know.

2007-10-23 13:47:18.0 xodus: Michael jordan was a top 5 point guard? i must have missed that one

2007-10-23 13:47:22.0 Gunner: wes, Mike was not a point guard. he was just a better facilitator

2007-10-23 13:47:24.0 wesjoenixon: My lord...here comes the rainbow brigade...

2007-10-23 13:47:26.0 naz_21: LOL

2007-10-23 13:47:36.0 charles: Red keep it purple, AK keep it purple so that we can distinguish

2007-10-23 13:47:38.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Mostly I was worried about choosing too pink-y a shade of purple.

2007-10-23 13:47:50.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I wonder if we’ve botten sidetracked, here.

2007-10-23 13:47:53.0 xodus: michael wasn’t the facilitator of the Bulls’ offense, pippen was.

2007-10-23 13:47:55.0 wesjoenixon: Phil made Mike play PG for 18 months, no?

2007-10-23 13:48:13.0 umat: Kobe will show up,the important thing is will he learn to trust and will he be willing to make the easy pass that can lead to a secondary pass assist rather than go for the spectacular every time.

2007-10-23 13:48:15.0 charles: BK we are sidetracked

2007-10-23 13:48:36.0 charles: west hollywood colors

2007-10-23 13:48:39.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: It’s as if we were talking online in the 60’s, and people were trying to switch up the colors to enhance their acid trips.

2007-10-23 13:48:41.0 Brian Kamenetzky: umat- I think that’s the point, exactly.

2007-10-23 13:48:43.0 sonnybelfast: I’m seeing red. Gotta go. This is fun. Hope it continues

2007-10-23 13:48:50.0 Administrator2: Who wants to get us back on track? Smarmy?:

2007-10-23 13:48:52.0 smarmy: assuming the last regular season roster spot remains open, which available PF’s do y’all anticipate the Lakers pursuing?

2007-10-23 13:49:49.0 smarmy: don’t mind if i do.

2007-10-23 13:49:55.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: of course, one would need to question how we got online during an age where computers were the size of the one in Batman’s cave, but that’s another story.

2007-10-23 13:50:14.0 Brian Kamenetzky: smarmy- that’s a tough one. I’m not entirely sure who will be available. Last year, there were guys like Webber on the market. I’d have to take a look at contracts, etc.

2007-10-23 13:50:19.0 wesjoenixon: Why don’t the Lakers go after vets for these few roster spots? Too much bad luck with the Richmonds and JR’s?

2007-10-23 13:50:33.0 wesjoenixon: Wasn’t the original Batman cave by Dodger Stadium?

2007-10-23 13:50:53.0 Gunner: wes, we had vets. they were sitting deep on the bench last year. Phil use them for bench material.

2007-10-23 13:50:57.0 charles: wesjoenixon i belive that all ended after the mini dynasty era

2007-10-23 13:51:05.0 charles: believe

2007-10-23 13:51:18.0 mikenb: I think Farmar is going to make a big jump this year... looks like he really worked on his game this summer

2007-10-23 13:51:20.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Smarmy, it’s pretty slim pickings. It’s not like they can afford a guy like Anderson Varajao. Even P.J. Brown might be too pricey, but he could a possiblity.

2007-10-23 13:51:25.0 xodus: we could always use guys to keep the bench warm

2007-10-23 13:51:40.0 hudster: what do you mean you are not sure......they will go after SLAVA!!!!!!!!!!

2007-10-23 13:51:42.0 charles: gunner i thought with shammond and mckey coming off the bench, they offense looked more steady

2007-10-23 13:51:47.0 wesjoenixon: Still..why not go after vets like PJ Brown...Kobe likes vets...like Ben Walllace, no?

2007-10-23 13:51:48.0 Brian Kamenetzky: wesjoe- Not sure who would help more than cause a log jam. I like Webber, and maybe he could pitch in, but I don’t know if he’d be a big contributor, and may retire anyway. PJ Brown is still out there. He might help, but would probably be too expensive. But most of the vets out there aren’t great pickups unless they come with a time machine.

2007-10-23 13:51:56.0 xodus: Aaron Mckie may not have made it into any games but he warmed Kobe’s seat with the best of them

2007-10-23 13:52:07.0 Gunner: Do you think the preseason accessment of the Lakers finishing 3rd in the conference is a fair assessment?

2007-10-23 13:52:09.0 Brian Kamenetzky: xodus- nice guy, too.

2007-10-23 13:52:20.0 Gunner: charles, steady. LOL!!!!

2007-10-23 13:52:31.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Gunner- who’s assesment was that? I don’t think they have a prayer of finishing third in the west.

2007-10-23 13:52:36.0 hudster: What about Antwan Jamison he has one year left on his contract

2007-10-23 13:52:41.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Hudster - Don’t tease me, man! I’d have already locked up Slava to a 12-year, 24 mil deal by now.

2007-10-23 13:52:48.0 Gunner: BK, no 3rd in the division

2007-10-23 13:53:02.0 Drew: Is Cobe Karl officially a Laker/bench warmer?

2007-10-23 13:53:17.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: As far as I’m concerned, Slava has an open invite to return whenever he feels like.

2007-10-23 13:53:21.0 kazsim: Can bshaw still play?

2007-10-23 13:53:30.0 wesjoenixon: I can Imagine the administrator resorting to Gordon Ramsey tacticts to keep this flowing. Is he yelling yet?

2007-10-23 13:53:32.0 eagleboy: I think the Lakers finish 2nd in the Pacific - if healthy

2007-10-23 13:53:34.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Gunner- Sure. That could happen. They could finish second in the division... but still seventh in the conference.

2007-10-23 13:53:56.0 Administrator2: WesJoe, on the inside.

2007-10-23 13:53:59.0 mikenb: Whatever happened to Mike Penberthy?

2007-10-23 13:54:00.0 kazsim: Hell lets bring back Rodman

2007-10-23 13:54:13.0 kazsim: Stir it up a little more

2007-10-23 13:54:24.0 charles: Do you guys feel that PJ was playing the triangle in an antiquated manner? Im glad hes pushing the ball now

2007-10-23 13:54:29.0 generic_one: Hey guys... I just wanted to drop in real quick and say that I hope all my fellow Laker fans down in LA are stayin safe. Be well, peoples.

2007-10-23 13:54:56.0 xodus: kazsim, yeah the Lakers are lacking drama this year, we need someone to spice things up. lol

2007-10-23 13:55:52.0 Bzar: I got one... “As the Ankle Rolls”... that would be for last year

2007-10-23 13:56:05.0 xodus: lol

2007-10-23 13:56:38.0 kazsim: Ive fallen and can’t get up

2007-10-23 13:56:47.0 Bzar: what would everybody’s “perfect” scoring distribution be on average?

2007-10-23 13:57:12.0 Brian Kamenetzky: charles- I don’t know if it was antiquated. I think it depends on if you find the whole offense antiquated. I don’t. It’s more a matter of trying to fit what they do to their skill set. Although they could get caught pushing w/ more defenisve breakdowns the other end. It’ll be interseting to see when they run and when they don’t in the real games.

2007-10-23 13:57:15.0 wesjoenixon: 4 guys at 10 pts per game

2007-10-23 13:57:18.0 Bzar: How many points do you see Vlad averaging this year?

2007-10-23 13:57:27.0 charles: Generic Long time no blog???

2007-10-23 13:57:34.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Bzar- not so much scoring, but shots. I like it when Kobe is around 18-20 a game. He tends to be more productive, as do the other players.

2007-10-23 13:57:35.0 charles: Vlade 8-10 pts

2007-10-23 13:57:46.0 Drew: So who thinks Javaris can keep up with Deron Willy tonight?

2007-10-23 13:57:56.0 Brian Kamenetzky: 18-22, in that range.

2007-10-23 13:58:00.0 umat: Doesn’t matter(scoring) do the old Knick thing and find the open man. Get the ball moving and test the opponent’s defense

2007-10-23 13:58:04.0 xodus: Kobe at 27 ppg, Lamar, 17 ppg, Vlad 10 ppg

2007-10-23 13:58:05.0 charles: JC will keep up

2007-10-23 13:58:09.0 hudster: BK dont you think the running mentality is to force more mismatch’s when they start their half court set

2007-10-23 13:58:21.0 xodus: everyone else fills in as needed

2007-10-23 13:58:25.0 Brian Kamenetzky: umat- I agree. In the long run, that’ll help Kobe and everyone else. Better shots, fewer misses, better D on the other end.

2007-10-23 13:58:32.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Bzar, if Vlad can average 10, that would be nice. But it’s hard to say for sure, because he’s so inconsistent. I could see him averaging 6ppg or 13ppg. But I’d be fine with 10, especially if he’s coming off the bench, as I suspect he will.

2007-10-23 13:58:34.0 kazsim: We need four people in double figures, when that happens we usually win

2007-10-23 13:58:40.0 kazsim: Will the lakers win 50?

2007-10-23 13:58:41.0 kazsim: Or was it a challenge issued by Buss

2007-10-23 13:59:13.0 Administrator2: Hey all, your pals Andrew and Brian have gotta wrap it up in a few minutes (so they can go back to writing that blog y’all love so much). We’ll take a few more questions if it’s okay with them!

2007-10-23 13:59:20.0 Brian Kamenetzky: kazsim- It was optimism from the owner. And no, I don’t think they will.

2007-10-23 13:59:22.0 xodus: I’d say they can. chemistry is going to be the difference

2007-10-23 13:59:27.0 Bzar: I think even the most staunch Kobe loyalist doesn’t ever want to see another 81

2007-10-23 13:59:29.0 wesjoenixon: unless kobe gets happy, we’re winning 40 games

2007-10-23 13:59:37.0 charles: kazsim if we stay healthy we will win 50 games

2007-10-23 13:59:39.0 wesjoenixon: maybe 35

2007-10-23 13:59:44.0 xodus: man i miss the optimism we all had at this time last season

2007-10-23 13:59:48.0 umat: Exactly, there is where the Lakers fall. I was really impressed with the second unit against Seattle in the secondf period. That was really unselfish play and quick ball movement.

2007-10-23 13:59:50.0 hudster: any predictions for tonight?

2007-10-23 14:00:01.0 kazsim: Win!

2007-10-23 14:00:15.0 smarmy: Health, Cohesion an DEFENSE are their biggest obstacles to winning 50 & turnin’ some heads... i’d say

2007-10-23 14:00:18.0 hudster: is the game on fsn?

2007-10-23 14:00:21.0 Drew: Hudster I believe the Lakers will play better (hopefully) but we’ll have to wait and see!

2007-10-23 14:00:24.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I’m not encouraged by how they’re starting off, health wise, either. Kwame, Mihm, and Odom are all already dealing with injury.

2007-10-23 14:00:26.0 xodus: oh, i forgot Bynum, I’d like to see him average 12 ppg!

2007-10-23 14:00:30.0 Drew: The game is on KCAL 9

2007-10-23 14:00:33.0 Gunner: Bzar, i have no problem with 81 if we’re winning and moving deeper into the playoffs.

2007-10-23 14:00:41.0 smarmy: GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2007-10-23 14:00:43.0 wesjoenixon: did kwame really have a 35/16 game once

2007-10-23 14:00:54.0 kazsim: In his dreams

2007-10-23 14:00:57.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Plus, Luke’s been dinged a bit and Kobe’s got some “knee” issues.

2007-10-23 14:01:00.0 xodus: Gunner actualy comes off sane in a chat

2007-10-23 14:01:06.0 T-Woody: Hey guys, Have you guys had a chance to talk to Kobe yet, and does he seem as dismal as he sometimes looks?

2007-10-23 14:01:12.0 Drew: Not sure but perhaps he lost his game when he began throwing cakes

2007-10-23 14:01:15.0 xodus: what gets lost in translation on the blog lol

2007-10-23 14:01:17.0 wesjoenixon: yeah..good job gunner!

2007-10-23 14:01:38.0 kazsim: You can’t have your cake and eat it too

2007-10-23 14:01:40.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: T-Woody, in the few times I’ve spoken with Kobe this season, he looks like he’s been sentenced to play for the Shawshank Lakers.

2007-10-23 14:01:51.0 Drew: Hey BK I wanted to know if you BELIEVE that the Lakers can beat the Rockets on their season opener?

2007-10-23 14:02:02.0 xodus: AK, i’m assumimg there’s no redemption in sight

2007-10-23 14:02:03.0 T-Woody: AK - not good

2007-10-23 14:02:04.0 xodus: haha

2007-10-23 14:02:16.0 Brian Kamenetzky: I hear he’s got a Rita Hayworth poster up over the back of his locker in the traning facility, and asked for rock hammer for Christmas.

2007-10-23 14:02:22.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: T-Woody/Xodus - Hey, I’m just being honest.

2007-10-23 14:02:24.0 wesjoenixon: Ak/bk...i cant see

2007-10-23 14:02:39.0 Gunner: xodus, this is the controlled Gunner. i don’t see any obsessed loyalists up in here. Plus I took my meds today. LOL!

2007-10-23 14:02:44.0 umat: worrying about individual numbers is the biggest hindrance to the Laker teaming moving forward. It is about finding people and moving the ball. Who scores them is irrelevant and 81 is a symptom of a team going nowhere as much as it is an individual accomplishment for Kobe.

2007-10-23 14:02:46.0 kazsim: He asked for hands for Kwame

2007-10-23 14:02:49.0 exhelodrvr: AK, But is he Morgan Freeman or what’s his name (Susan Sarandon’s partner)? makes a big difference.

2007-10-23 14:02:51.0 T-Woody: I’m not blaming you for the answer, I asked for the truth

2007-10-23 14:02:57.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Drew. I believe they can, but I believe overall Houston is a better team. But the home opener? Sure. Why not? I say Laker win!

2007-10-23 14:03:02.0 Drew: Ak/Bk is it smokey outside where you are?

2007-10-23 14:03:56.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Well, if you ask Kobe, he’s Tim Robbins, because that’s the guy who gets out. Plus, Tim Robbins character was unfairly sentenced and in Kobe’s mind, so was he.

2007-10-23 14:04:10.0 ose: lol

2007-10-23 14:04:19.0 wesjoenixon: woops...cant see kobe playing through his unhappiness. to me, he’s a high-performance psycho/emotional guy who’s drive is everything. how does his body move when his mind/heart are elsewhere?

2007-10-23 14:04:48.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Drew- No, not really. I’m in West Hollywood, so the hills are in my way. I was down further south today, though, and could see the haze and smoke from El Segundo.

2007-10-23 14:05:03.0 xodus: so are the Busses his version of the sisters?

2007-10-23 14:05:06.0 m: but kobe does have a little to do with his situation

2007-10-23 14:05:12.0 exhelodrvr: AK, Plus, he’s getting royally screwed. So is Kobe. (At least in his opinion.)

2007-10-23 14:05:15.0 T-Woody: OC is vey smoky right now. Irvine is bad

2007-10-23 14:05:17.0 eagleboy: What impact will D Fish have on the team - not just on the floor but in the locker room as well?

2007-10-23 14:05:39.0 ose: my hope and prayers are with you guys out in cali

2007-10-23 14:05:43.0 Brian Kamenetzky: xodus- Shame on you. Can’t answer that here (hahaha).

2007-10-23 14:05:46.0 kazsim: Will it be andrew’s breakout year

2007-10-23 14:06:00.0 wesjoenixon: eagle...last 2 min of each game is where fisher will be felt most.

2007-10-23 14:06:08.0 umat: Good point,Wesjoe. . About Kobe’s heart. If doesn’t want the offense to happen it won’t. Actually Phil should maybe pull him when he sees the attitude. Could cost some games, but no player should get by holding the team for ransom.

2007-10-23 14:06:11.0 xodus: i think he’s a year away from really breaking out

2007-10-23 14:06:12.0 kazsim: last .04

2007-10-23 14:06:19.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Xodus - He’ll let them be the sisters if that same guard drops by to beat the crap outta them. haha

2007-10-23 14:06:26.0 Brian Kamenetzky: kazsim- Depends on what you mean by breakout. He’ll be better. I think 13/8 is about as good as you can expect. If he hits that, it’ll be a big, big leap.

2007-10-23 14:06:36.0 Drew: I’m not sure if AB will have a breakout year..I wanted to see something last year..but he faded away

2007-10-23 14:06:40.0 T-Woody: Do you think Farmar will have a chance to crack the first team even though PJ likes him running the 2nd team? His play has improved leaps and bounds, just imagine if Kidd had been picked up!

2007-10-23 14:06:56.0 kazsim: Will he ever be the “Goto” guy like Kareem Shaq?

2007-10-23 14:07:03.0 xodus: i’d like to see Andrew look like D-Howard in a year, Howard is so ripped it’s ridiculous

2007-10-23 14:07:13.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Kazsim- He’s got a chance, sure.

2007-10-23 14:07:15.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Eagle, I think Fish will help the locker room vibe a lot. He’s a good guy to have around.

2007-10-23 14:07:23.0 xodus: Am I the only one who sees Bynum being another Brad Daugherty?

2007-10-23 14:07:24.0 Drew: Maybe when he’s 30

2007-10-23 14:07:32.0 Gunner: BK, when i ask you about who you would have starting. you mentioned Bynum at the 5 and turiaf at the 4. So, is it safe to say, you believe Kwame should be coming off the bench?

2007-10-23 14:07:39.0 xodus: very good, but not an all time great

2007-10-23 14:08:11.0 Administrator2: Hey guys! Andrew and Brian have got to go (we’ve already kept them 6 minutes late!)...but they’ll be back again before you know it.

2007-10-23 14:08:14.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Gunner- If he’s healthy, it’s a different story. But right now, I just don’t think he is, physically or mentally.

2007-10-23 14:08:17.0 T-Woody: I see Bynum as the next Chris Kaman, decent center with an inflated contract cause he is 7+

2007-10-23 14:08:21.0 jayjon: Kwame is trade bait, if he shows up

2007-10-23 14:08:22.0 wesjoenixon: thanks guys

2007-10-23 14:08:26.0 exhelodrvr: xodus, I’d be happy if he turned into another daugherty

2007-10-23 14:08:27.0 m: xodus- your not the only one

2007-10-23 14:08:29.0 kazsim: I see it in his stride now, more confident

2007-10-23 14:08:31.0 kazsim: Thanbks

2007-10-23 14:08:32.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Once he is, if he plays well, that changes things. Ideally, they could figure out how to get him/Mihm some minutes at the four.

2007-10-23 14:08:48.0 T-Woody: Take care guys, see you back on the blog

2007-10-23 14:08:49.0 Gunner: ok thanks

2007-10-23 14:08:50.0 umat: Thank you. I enjoyed it!!

2007-10-23 14:09:08.0 m: thanks guys

2007-10-23 14:09:12.0 xodus: thanks guys

2007-10-23 14:09:15.0 wesjoenixon: Couldn’t handle 2 hours, eh?

2007-10-23 14:09:28.0 Brian Kamenetzky: Sorry, wes, we can’t. See you guys in a couple weeks.

2007-10-23 14:09:52.0 Andrew Kamenetzky: Later everyone. Thanks for dropping by. A very lively, spirited time.

2007-10-23 14:09:55.0 T-Woody: Dodger blog should be down now, they should be able to focus for a while, HAHA
