How much money will the Dodgers have to spend this off-season? The judge overseeing the team’s bankruptcy case figures to have the final say.

The Delaware bankruptcy court has reserved 10 hearing dates for the Dodgers’ case, with the last one scheduled for Jan. 25, 2012, according to a filing Thursday.

The next hearing date is set for July 20, when the judge is to consider whether Dodgers owner Frank McCourt or Major League Baseball should fund the team during the bankruptcy process.

In the interim, the league is expected to ask the court to revoke McCourt’s franchise rights or reinstate Tom Schieffer as the team’s league-appointed trustee.
