Rancho Santa Margarita Tesoro (6-1, 2-0) at Mission Viejo (7-0, 1-0), 7:30 p.m. (Fox Sports West): Tesoro first-year Coach Matt Poston has been having a difficult time trying to find a weakness in Mission Viejo’s attack. On offense, the Diablos have been relying on quarterback Ian Fieber and running back Alex Suchesk. On defense, end Michael Mathewes has been close to unblockable. Tesoro will need strong performances from running back Jon Rivera, who has scored 10 touchdowns, and defensive end Jack Bares, who has 10 sacks, to win this South Coast League title decider. The pick: Mission Viejo.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (5-3, 1-1) at Encino Crespi (3-4, 1-0), 7 p.m.: A Serra League playoff berth could be on the line in this neighborhood rivalry game in which the last four games have been decided in the final minute. Notre Dame is hoping quarterback Grant Kraemer can regain his form after a shoulder injury left him far from 100% last week in a loss to Alemany. Crespi woke up last week to defeat Loyola behind sophomore running back Jalen Starks. The pick: Notre Dame.
