Saturday’s high school football championship games:

Santa Ana Mater Dei (11-2) vs. Bellflower St. John Bosco (13-0) at Angel Stadium, 8 p.m. Prime Ticket, 830 AM: It could be a rainy, muddy night for the Pac-5 Division championship game, and that could create some intriguing moments when each team’s big offensive line tries to grind out drives. Mater Dei lost the first meeting, 24-2, in the Trinity League. Coach Bruce Rollinson will have his players fired up, but unless the Monarchs’ defense puts pressure on quarterback Josh Rosen, the Braves will be tough to topple. St. John Bosco is 25-1 on the field the last two seasons. The pick: St. John Bosco.

Newport Harbor (8-5) vs. Huntington Beach (8-5) at Angel Stadium, 2 p.m., Fox Sports West Prep Zone: These Sunset League rivals play for the Southwest Division title, and it will be a battle of quarterbacks. Kai Ross of Huntington Beach has passed for 2,072 yards and 28 touchdowns. Cole Norris of Newport Harbor has passed for 2,722 yards and 25 touchdowns. Huntington Beach won the first meeting, 40-14. The pick: Huntington Beach.

Other games at 7 p.m unless noted:

City Section Division III: View Park Prep (11-0) vs. Sun Valley Poly (9-4), 1 p.m. at Birmingham High; Central Division: Romoland Heritage (12-1) at Moreno Valley Rancho Verde (11-2); East Valley Division: San Juan Capistrano St. Margaret’s (12-1) at Jurupa Hills (11-2); Northeast Division: San Luis Obispo Mission Prep (11-2) at Los Angeles Salesian (10-2); Northwest Division: El Segundo (10-3) at Ojai Nordhoff (12-1); Southeast Division: Norwalk (13-0) vs. Whittier La Serna (11-2) at Cal State Fullerton.
