Clippers tonight
VS. NEW ORLEANS
When: 7:30.
Where: Staples Center.
On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 980.
Records: Clippers 3-4, Hornets 2-5.
Record vs. Hornets (2008-09): 0-3.
Update: It'll be Rasual Butler against his old teammates. Butler is averaging 9.9 points for the Clippers, and he has started at small forward the last three. The Clippers have lost nine consecutive regular-season games to the Hornets. Chris Kaman's six-game streak of 20-plus points is the longest of his career. The Clippers defeated New Orleans in the final exhibition game, which is notable on several levels. The Hornets' Chris Paul did not play because of illness, and Clippers rookie Blake Griffin suffered a stress fracture in his left kneecap, which is expected to sideline him until early December.
