Orlando Hudson hits for the cycle on opening day. What a way to start the season. The Dodgers had a home opener for the ages, crushing San Francisco, 11-1. On a day when Chad Billingsley pitched seven innings of one-run ball, Hudson singled in the first, homered in the third, doubled in the fourth and tripled in the sixth. The Dodgers would go on to win their first 13 home games, a modern-day major-league record.
