Record vs. Whitecaps: 1-0-1.

Update: This is the third and final regular-season game between two clubs fighting for playoff spots in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. The top five teams in the conference qualify for postseason play and the Galaxy currently is fourth, four points ahead of the fifth-place Whitecaps. In their previous meetings this year, the Galaxy won 1-0 on Robbie Keane’s goal April 12 at StubHub Center, and a week later the clubs played to a 2-2 tie in Vancouver. The Galaxy is coming off a 4-3 win over the Rapids in Colorado, and Vancouver last played to a scoreless draw against Chivas USA a week ago at StubHub Center.
