The significance: Goodrichs basket came after Jerry West made two free throws to break a 111-111 tie with 1:15 left. The Lakers 116-111 victory gave them a 3-1 series lead and they clinched their first Los Angeles championship with a 114-100 victory two days later at the Forum.<br>
