The setting: After briefly going to the locker room to tend to an injury, Fisher returned in the fourth quarter and made a three-point shot with 6:12 left to tie the score at 64-64.
The significance: In a game where points were hard to come by, FisherÂ’s shot not only got the Lakers even but it reenergized the Staples Center crowd. From that point on, the Lakers never trailed and won, 83-79. Boston Coach Doc Rivers said FisherÂ’s shot was the biggest of the game. |
