The significance: The shot, which gave the Lakers their first lead since 2-0, allowed the Lakers to tie the series at 2-2. It prevented the Kings, who had a 24-point lead in the second quarter, from winning a third straight game and going home with a chance to end the series. The Lakers won the series in seven games, taking Game 7 in overtime in Sacramento, and swept the New Jersey Nets for their third consecutive NBA title.<br>
