The setting: The Lakers trailed the Magic, 87-84, when Fisher took a pass from Trevor Ariza, moved up court with two dribbles and made a three-point shot from 26 feet with 4.6 seconds left in Orlando.
The significance: Fishers shot sent the game to overtime and in the extra session, he broke a 91-91 tie with another three with 31.3 seconds left. The Lakers won, 99-91, to take a 3-1 series lead. They won the championship in the next game, routing the host Magic, 99-86. |
