Anaheim Servite High’s 48-31 victory over Bellflower St. John Bosco on Friday night at Cerritos College moved the Friars into a three-way tie for the Trinity League title alongside Orange Lutheran and Santa Ana Mater Dei.

Servite sports information director Bill Knudson said a series of coin flips at Servite this morning at 8 would determine seedings for the playoffs. The teams are considered tri-champions of the league.

Servite (7-3, 4-1), ranked No. 16 in the Southland by The Times, defeated Lutheran (8-2, 4-1) last month. Lutheran defeated Mater Dei (7-3, 4-1) on Thursday and Mater Dei defeated Servite last month, creating a tiebreaker scenario that couldn’t be broken by head-to-head matchups.
