Update: The Sparks broke a three-game losing streak Saturday with a 77-69 win in Seattle. Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker led the way with 22 and 19 points, respectively. Both scored the majority of their points in the second half. The top four teams in each conference reach the playoffs, and the Sparks are fourth in the West with nine games left. The Fever are second in the East and won its last game, 75-68, over San Antonio, making it 6-4 in its last 10. The Sparks won the teams’ only meeting this season 86-78 on July 15.
