Update: In the first of seven consecutive games on the road, the Sparks, who were on a three-game winning streak, lost to the San Antonio Silver Stars on Friday in overtime, 90-80. The Sparks play the Liberty again after beating them at Staples Center on Tuesday, 96-91. The Sparks are averaging 33.7 rebounds, and the Liberty has the second-lowest rebounding average in the league at 30.9. Cappie Pondexter leads the Liberty with 16.9 points a game, and Candace Parker is averaging 18 points and 9.7 rebounds for the Sparks.
