Nick Young forgot about his problems, at least for a night, to enjoy Kobe Bryant’s final game Wednesday.

But the Lakers forward said Thursday he was glad the season was over.

“It was a tough one, but I’m a trooper,” Young said.

Young, a nine-year pro, made two starts in 54 games. He averaged 7.3 points and shot 33.9%, the lowest numbers of his career.

To make matters worse, last month a video secretly recorded by teammate D’Angelo Russell of Young talking about women who were not his fiancee leaked to a gossip site.

When asked if he saw a future with the team, Young said he expected something to change.

“You never know what is going to happen, but you know something is going to happen and I know the Lakers are going to make decisions for the Lakers,” Young said.

The Lakers finished with a 17-65 record, the fewest wins in franchise history.

Young has two years and $11.1 million remaining on his Lakers contract.

He expressed disappointment in his lack of playing time and said it remained unclear why he did not play more.

“I just want to play basketball again, wherever that is at. I just want to enjoy being out there playing the game I love,” Young said.
