One of the last Lakers to walk off the practice court Sunday following the team’s shoot-around was Pau Gasol after he shot a series of free throws.

Could they be the last ones he takes in a Lakers uniform?

Speculation continued to swirl that the Lakers remain engaged in talks with Cleveland regarding a trade that would send Gasol to the Cavaliers in exchange for Andrew Bynum, at least one other player to meet salary requirements and a possible draft pick.

Lakers Coach Mike D’Antoni was asked if he was on pins and needles about whether Gasol would continue to play for him.

“It concerns everybody and it’s things you’ve got to play through,” D’Antoni said, “but it’s things you can’t worry about.”

Gasol did not speak with the media after the shoot-around.

The Lakers play the Denver Nuggets on Sunday evening at Staples Center, with D’Antoni saying Wes Johnson would replace Nick Young in the starting lineup.

The Lakers will have used 19 starting lineups in 34 games this season.
