Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Fallon made hilarious beer run together in ’96
Back in the mid-1990s, Kobe Bryant and Jimmy Fallon went on a beer run together, and the story is pretty funny.
Bryant was on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday with his arm in a sling after recently undergoing surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. He will be sidelined about nine months.
The Laker and the “Tonight Show” host talked about the first time they met, at a party in 1996 when they were both relatively new to L.A. and neither had achieved massive fame yet.
The two went on a beer run for a party and, of course, hilarity ensued.
From sharing pictures of their fashion sense at the time to recalling a visit to a store that would not let them in because it only delivered, the pair’s remembrances offered lots of laughs for the audience.
All things Lakers, all the time.
