Former Santa Monica Crossroads High and UCLA star Baron Davis returned to his hometown when the Clippers signed him as a free agent this summer. Davis was part of a nearly complete overhaul of the organization, which shed Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor as general manager and brought in 10 new players, including Marcus Camby, Ricky Davis, Zach Randolph and rookie Eric Gordon, through free-agent signings, trades and the draft.
