Hassan Whiteside had 25 points and 19 rebounds, Gerald Green scored 19 off the bench and the Miami Heat, undeterred by an illness that limited Dwyane Wade’s playing time, rolled to a 106-82 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night in Miami.

Chris Bosh scored 16 points and Goran Dragic had 15 points and seven assists to help the Heat snap a two-game slide.

Miami adjusted its starting lineup shortly before tipoff when Wade reported flu-like symptoms. Wade checked in early in the second quarter, just his 10th time coming off the bench in his 13-year career, and finished with 10 points on five-for-six shooting in 19 minutes.

Dallas had only 10 points in the first quarter — its low for any period this season — and shot just 36% for the game, compared to 56% for Miami.

Zaza Pachulia led the Mavericks with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Wesley Matthews made four three-pointers for his 12 points, and Dirk Nowitzki added 11 points for Dallas, which was playing for the first time since topping Golden State on Wednesday.

The Mavericks’ winning streak ended at four games.

at Chicago 108, New York 81: Jimmy Butler had 23 points and six assists, Nikola Mirotic had 17 points and seven assists in one of his best games of the season, and the Bulls shrugged off the absence of Derrick Rose, outscoring the Knicks 31-8 in the fourth quarter to turn a tight game into a rout. Pau Gasol had 17 points and eight rebounds as Chicago won for the fourth time in five games. Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points for the Knicks. Rose sat out because of a sore hamstring.

at Toronto 104, Charlotte 94: DeMar DeRozan scored 23 points and Kyle Lowry had 18 points and 11 assists as the Raptors rallied past the Hornets. It was the fourth double-double of the season for Lowry, who helped Toronto come back from a seven-point deficit entering the fourth quarter and avenge a 109-99 loss in Charlotte last month. DeMarre Carroll and Patrick Patterson each had 14 points each for Toronto. Kemba Walker had 18 points for the Hornets, who also got 17 from Marvin Williams and 15 points and nine rebounds from center Cody Zeller.

at Washington 103, Orlando 91: John Wall had 24 points and 13 assists, Otto Porter had 20 points and 11 rebounds, and the Wizards extended their dominance over the Magic. Washington won its 11th straight game against improving Orlando, which came in with a 13-5 record since Nov. 25, best in the Eastern Conference.
