Cleveland’s Dahntay Jones has been suspended for one game by the NBA for striking Toronto’s Bismack Biyombo in the groin.

The league also fined Raptors Coach Dwane Casey $25,000 on Sunday for his criticisms of the officiating.

Biyombo remained on his knees on the court after time expired in Game 3 on Saturday night after Jones hit him with 17.6 seconds remaining. The little-used reserve will miss Game 4 of the series Monday night at Toronto.

Casey’s comments, including his belief that Biyombo isn’t getting enough calls, came in his postgame press conference following the Raptors’ 99-84 victory. The Cavaliers lead the series 2-1.

Along with comments about Biyombo, Casey noted that Cleveland has an 86-51 edge in free throw attempts in the series.

On Sunday, Casey declined to say whether those comments had drawn league discipline. “I’m not trying to get anybody,” he said. “It’s over with. I said what I had to say last night. I’m not trying to send a message. It was a comment about the game last night and it’s over with.”

Toronto’s Jonas Valanciunas, out since Game 3 of the Miami series after spraining his right ankle, is listed as doubtful for Game 4. Valanciunas is progressing slowly and will be re-evaluated Monday, Casey said.

In his absence, Biyombo has been a force for the Raptors. He had a franchise playoff-record 26 rebounds and four blocks in Game 3.
