Should Kobe have surgery and return in six weeks or play hurt and risk further injury?
1.
As much as i like to see Kobe play his heart out and deliver the team to the playoffs, the part of me wants him to have the surgery thus preventing more harmful injury to come his way. He had proved his worth in the eyes of the lakers fans and even the basketball lovers all over the world. Me and every lakers fans want him to stay healthy much of his playing days, so he must heed the doctors advise and have the surgery.
2. don't get the surgery. we'll be out of a playoff spot for sure.
3. shouldve had the surgery last week the lakers just need need to make the playoffs with everyone healthy it doesn't matter what their seed is because the west is so stacked its gonna be a hard road no matter what and thats when they need to be at their best.
4. No Kobe shouldn't have surgery. This is nothing new to Kobe! Kobe has always played through injury his whole career and the other things he went through in 2004. Kobe feels the Lakers are on course for Championship run. The Lakers are set for the next 6 years if he stays. The Lakers will make a great run through the rest of the season and post season and Kobe will bring home the Gold in the Summer.
5. Kobe should have the surgery because he'll be at less-than-full strength until he does. If he did get surgery not only would he be back before the playoffs, but also fully rested as a bonus. However I understand his reluctance to get surgery since he has shown he's still able to play at a high level. This should show anyone with any doubts that Kobe is a true MVP candidate. In my opinion not only is Kobe the greatest player currently playing, pulling this off will only add to his legend and put him into hallowed ground of amongst the greatest players ever...
6. Play until the finger falls off...Kobe has been waiting for a championship caliber team and come play off time he and his team should be ready. If he has surgery, in his mind, he would be quitting what he has been longing for, A championship without Shaq. Go Kobe, Do what you got to do, Get that Ring!!!
7. Best Course of Action: Have surgery now. Worse Course of Action (but a viable one): skip all star game, miss required season game, rest it up, feel it out and then decide what is best. We know have a great TEAM and have better chances of winning games without Kobe (at least temporarily). Go Kobe!! GO LAKERS!!!
8. Yes Kobe is a warrior and thats why he should not have the surgery. Its time to seize the moment. We have a chance to officially close the window for the likes of San Antonio, Dallas, and Phoenix. We have quickly become the favorite and will be for a long time. Kobe knows that the time is now and must remain on the court inorder for them to become champions...
9. He should get the surgery after the Poenix game. That way hopefully the Lakers win and they should be tied or in first place inthe standing!
10. its gud to have the surgery but if he will miss 6 weeks for sure he wont be the MVP this season.
