RESULTS
* at Boston 13, Baltimore 4: The Red Sox improved to 18-4 against the Orioles since the start of last season despite a poor performance by Curt Schilling, who gave up four runs and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings, his shortest outing since opening day.
* Detroit 8, at Minnesota 2: Since winning two in a row against the Tigers in Detroit on April 27 and 28, the Twins are 3-9. Since that last loss to Minnesota two weeks ago, Detroit is 11-1. * at Chicago 5, Kansas City 4 (10 innings): Juan Uribe hit a game-tying double with two out in the ninth inning and Jermaine Dye singled in the winning run in the 10th. Dye, who entered in an 0-for-13 slump and was batting .193, singled to center.
* New York 7, at Seattle 2: The Yankees got to Miguel Batista for five runs in the second inning and chased him with a two-run third.
* at Toronto 5, Tampa Bay 4: Vernon Wells scored the go-ahead run from first base on Lyle Overbay’s two-out single in the seventh inning.
