Update: This is the third and final regular-season meeting between these Western Conference rivals. Seattle is in first place and has clinched a playoff spot, while Chivas USA is in last place. In their prior games this year, the Sounders won 2-1 on April 19, and they again defeated Chivas USA, 4-2, on Sept. 3. Both games were at StubHub Center. Chivas USA is coming off a 3-0 loss against Toronto on Sunday. It was Chivas USA’s sixth consecutive loss, and the club is winless in its last 11 games. Seattle is unbeaten in its last 13 matches against Chivas USA, with nine wins, four ties.
