Update: This is the third and final regular-season game between these two rivals in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. FC Dallas won their first meeting, 3-1, on March 22 and the teams played to a 1-1 draw on May 17, with both games in Dallas. Chivas USA is coming off two consecutive losses, the most recent a 3-0 loss to the Rapids in Colorado a week ago, after winning four consecutive matches. FC Dallas has gone six games without a loss after its 2-2 tie with the Vancouver Whitecaps a week ago.
