CHIVAS USA SUNDAY

AT D.C. UNITED

When: 4 PDT.

Where: RFK Stadium, Washington.

On the air: TV: Galavision.

Records: Chivas USA 7-14-7, D.C. United 14-10-5.

Record vs. D.C. United: First meeting.

Update: Chivas USA has its work cut out if it hopes to pull out of a late-season meltdown that has seen it go 0-6-2 in its last eight games. Chivas will have Coach Robin Fraser back on the sidelines after serving a one-game suspension, but it will be without midfielder Oswaldo Minda (yellow card accumulation) and defender James Riley (red card). The loss of Riley could be particularly costly because he hasn’t missed a minute this season and the Chivas defense is reeling, having given up 23 goals in its last eight games. D.C. United, meanwhile, is riding a franchise-record 14-match unbeaten streak at home and is 2-0 since losing league MVP Dwayne De Rosario, who suffered a season-ending MCL sprain while playing for Canada in World Cup qualifying.
